Industrial Linings, Inc. has just completed the FRP manufacturing and fabricating of a  4" diameter piping system for a chemical plant.  Resin type used was Derakane 411 and Derakane 510C. Derakane 411 resin provides resistance to acids, alkalis, bleaches and organic solvents, has a maximum resistance to caustic alkalis, hypochlorite bleaches and hot water, and tolerates heavy design loads. It also has a higher elongation which provides FRP equipment with increased toughness. Derakane 510C is brominated for fire retardant applications and provides resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, bleaches and organic compounds.
