Industrial Linings, Inc. has been awarded a contract to
FRP manufacture and fabricate 4" diameter piping system
for a chemical plant. Resin type to be used will be Derakane 411 and Derakane 510C.
Derakane 411 resin provides resistance to acids, alkalis, bleaches and
organic solvents, has a maximum resistance to caustic alkalis,
hypochlorite bleaches and hot water, and tolerates heavy
design loads. It also has a higher elongation which provides FRP equipment
with increased toughness. Derakane 510C is brominated
for fire retardant applications and provides resistance
to a wide range of acids, alkalis, bleaches and organic
compounds. It is commony used in many chemical

This project also consists of the installing the piping
system on the customer's job site. Also included in the
scope are pipe supports and clamps to stabilize the pipe
runs.
